Applications and Fee payments

A 1 year membership runs from 1st February until 31st January. Applications from new members are welcomed at any point during the year. Members who join after 1st February will be asked to pay in full for the current year, with a renewal date of 1st February if you would like your membership to be renewed for the following year.

We prefer that members pay their annual fees using the PayPal system above.

However, if you would like to set up a standing order instead, please contact us to request the details of our bank account at treasurer@the-bns.org before applying. Members are responsible for setting up their standing order for the correct amount via their own bank.

Existing members who have not paid in full by 1st March will be considered lapsed for that year.

If you have any questions about your membership application please contact the BNS Honorary Secretary (info@the-bns.org). Questions about fee payments should be directed to the Treasurer (treasurer@the-bns.org).

After you have submitted your application and have paid your fees, you will receive an automated email to let you know that your application has been received. All applications will then be reviewed by the BNS Executive Committee. The review process should take no longer than 7 days. You will then receive an email welcoming you to the Society, together with a username and password for the Wild Apricot membership system, where you can edit your contact details and access videos and posters from our previous meetings.
